Safety features

The food processor is equipped with the following safety features designed to protect the user and the processor from injury or damage:

  • Bowl Safety Switch - The bowl must be securely attached in order to activate the cutter. If the bowl is not properly secured, the cutter will not start. If the bowl is removed during operation, the cutter will stop. Never attempt to remove the bowl during operation.

  • Lid Safety Switch - The lid must be securely attached for the cutter to activate. The lid must be secured with the two clips on either side of the bowl and the safety handle on top. If the lid is not properly secured, the cutter will not start. If the cover is removed during operation, the cutter will shut down. Never attempt to remove the cover during operation.

  • Overheating Protection - The motor is equipped with a safety shut-off that automatically shuts down the machine if the motor temperature exceeds the manufacturer's recommended operating limits. If this occurs, the machine should be shut down for at least 60 minutes to allow the motor to cool. After this cooling period, the user may continue to operate the machine.
