Cleaning
ATTENTION!
This device and its parts must be cleaned frequently and properly. Hazardous bacteria may manifest if not cleaned correctly. Use a detergent which is suited for meat processing equipment.
Step 1:
- Remove the guide fences from the side of the machine.
- Unscrew the 4 bolts and set them aside with their washer.
- Lift the top cover to access the blade compartment.
Step 2:
- Remove the blades carefully, be careful as the blades may be very sharp.
- Clean all parts accessories with a sponge, warm water and a suitable detergent.
- Once all parts are thoroughly cleaned and rinsed with warm water have them air dry until fully dried.
ATTENTION!
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives. Do not use solvents or petrol-based cleaning agents. Some cleaning agents may leave harmful residues or cause damage to the machine.
Do not use any scourer and sharp or pointed objects during cleaning, this may cause damage to the machine.
Never hose down the machine or immerse it in water or any other liquid, instead wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use a steamer to clean the appliance.
Never let the power cable or power plug get wet or damp.
Never clean the appliance or accessories in the dishwasher.
Step 3:
- Reassemble all parts in reverse sequence, explained also in the "installation" guide.
