Here you will find information about operating a meat slicer.
Operation
Step 1:
- Plug the appliance into the main socket.
- Make sure that the appliance has been well assembled after cleaning.
- If the blade is dull, follow the "how to sharpen a meat slicer" guide.
NOTE: Test the appliance (without any product) by pressing the “ON” button, to ensure that the appliance is working correctly. Let the appliance run for about 1 minute then press the “OFF” button to stop the appliance.
- Remove any tough tendons, unwanted fat or bones from the meat being processed.
Step 2:
- Use the measurement knob to set the desired thickness you would like to cut on (thickness represented in "mm").
- Place the meat on the sliding arm and use the prickly meat pusher to firmly lock the product.
- Press the "I" button to turn on the appliance.
Step 3:
- Use the black handle to slide the cutting arm past the cutting blade, make sure to use the complete range of motion.
NOTE:
The cut slices will fall onto the backplate of the appliance, please leave the slices fully drop from the blade before collecting them.
For optimal usage, it's important to let the appliance cool down every 30 minutes of consecutive usage. This allows the motor to work within designed temperatures and avoid overheating the drive train.
ATTENTION!
Make sure the appliance is turned on before sliding the food against the cutting blade.
Do not use your hands to assist the falling slices, the blade is extremely sharp.
Pushing hard may cause damage to the machine, do not force the appliance.
Never push the product against the blade by hand.
In the event that food gets stuck in the machine, turn off the appliance, wait for the blade to stop and then remove the obstruction. Don't use any utensils to remove the obstructions.
- After the last slice, pull the cutting arm completely towards yourself and turn "OFF" the appliance using the "O" button.
Step 4:
- When finished with the appliance, please follow the "cleaning" guide.
NOTE: The appliance requires to be cleaned after every use due to hygienic regulations.
