Cleaning
Step 1:
- Switch "OFF" and disconnect the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.
- Check the power plug and power cable for damage. If either is damaged do not use the appliance until repaired by an electrical engineer.
Step 2:
- Unscrew the lower plastic black bolt at the back of the appliance to loosen the blade cover.
NOTE: The blade cover screw is equiped with a safety switch, the appliance will not start if the cover is not properly secured.
- Remove the cover to gain access to the blade.
ATTENTION! The blade is very sharp, handle with care.
- Remove the 3 screws at the center holding the blade to remove it.
Step 3:
- Remove the sliding arm by unscrewing the bolt located at the bottom of the sliding arm.
NOTE: Remove the sharpening mechanism from the top of the appliance and use a brush with alcohol to clean.
- Clean all parts and the appliance with a damp cloth (warm water and mild detergent), and wipe down all surfaces where the meat passes.
- Rinse loose parts with warm water and dry thoroughly before reassembling.
ATTENTION!
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives. Do not use solvents or petrol-based cleaning agents. Some cleaning agents may leave harmful residues or cause damage to the machine.
Do not use any scourer and sharp or pointed objects during cleaning, this may cause damage to the machine.
Never hose down the machine or immerse it in water or any other liquid, instead wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use a steamer to clean the appliance
Never let the power cable or power plug get wet or damp.
Never clean the appliance or accessories in the dishwasher.
Step 4:
- Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
