Here you will find information about how to operate a vacuum sealing machine.

Operating

This machine requires micro channel or embossed channel bags/rolls to function. Do not use smooth bags/tubes, these will not work.

ATTENTION! Before each operation, ensure that the dripping tray is completely empty. Always make sure the vacuum pump does not suck in any liquids. Immediately cancel operation if any liquid is sucked into the pump.

When using Vacuum Bags

Step 1:

  • Switch on the appliance using the “ON/OFF” switch located at the front.
  • Choose a suitable size bag and place your product inside.

To ensure a good seal, leave enough space (+/- 5 cm) between the product and the open end.

Step 2:

  •  Place the open end of the bag over the sealing strip and vacuum chamber gasket into the vacuum chamber. Make sure the entire width of the bag is placed within the sealing area and inside the chamber.

Also make sure there are no folds, ripples or gaps in the bag.

Step 3:

  • Close and hold the lid to keep the bag in place. The lid will lock automatically when the appliance starts operation and can be released afterwards.
  • Press the “Vacuum Dry Food” key when processing dry products and press the “Vacuum Moist Food” key when processing moist products. The appliance will operate on default settings, if desired, adjust the vacuum or sealing time.

Step 4:

  • After the sealing process, the lid will unlock automatically. Remove the bag and check the seal.

A good seal will look clear and even.

TIPS:

- When using the appliance for the first time or when you switch to a different bag type or material. Make a few test bags on different settings to find the ideal seal time / vacuum time combination.

- Let the appliance cool down for a short period after each sealing process. This will help prevent overheating and avoid damage to the sealing strip. If the appliance becomes overheated it will shut down automatically. Wait for it to cool down and restart.

- When packaging delicate items use the Pulse function. This allows you to regulate vacuum pressure. Press and hold for continuous operation or pulse for dosed operation. Finally, press “Seal Only” to seal the bag.

When using Vacuum Containers

Only use containers which are intended for vacuum packaging!

Step 1:

  • Place your product inside the container. Do not fill the container completely, leave some space between the product and the lid.
  • Place the lid on the container (ensure the lid is undamaged, clean and dry) and turn the valve into the “Vacuum” position.

Step 2:

  • Attach the vacuum hose to the valve on the lid and attach the opposite end of the hose to the hose connection at the side of the appliance.
  • Press the “Canister/ MarinateX2” key to start the vacuum process. When using the vacuum canister function, you cannot adjust the seal time or vacuum time. The vacuum pump will work until the programmed low pressure is reached and stops operation automatically afterwards.

Step 3:

  • When the vacuum process is complete, turn the valve into the “Lock” position and remove the hose. Store the container in the refrigerator. Do not store in freezer, this will cause vacuum loss over time.
  • To open the vacuum sealed container turn the valve to the “Open” position and remove the lid.

NOTE: Vacuum hose or container are not included, contact your supplier to acquire these accessories.
