ATTENTION!

 

Oil levels should never be below the minimum oil level, lower oil levels may cause a risk of inflaming.

 

Oil levels should never be above the maximum oil level, Higher oil levels may cause a risk of spilling.

 

Do not operate this appliance without oil inside.

 

Step 1:

  • Turn the flame adjustment valve while pressing allowing the gas to flow into the pipes, then press the igniter to ignite. Check for ignition by looking trough the flame observation hole next to the igniter.

NOTE: For first-time use wait 15-20 seconds allowing the air to exhaust and the gas to fill the pipe. 

  • Once ignited keep pressing the valve for a few seconds in order for the pilot to hold the flame.

 

Step 2:

  • Add the required amount of oil.
  • Place your product in the basket and gently drop the basket into the oil, then cover with the lid.
  • When your product is cooked to satisfaction, lift the basket and hook it to the draining bar located above the tank.
  • Remove the products using a pair of tongs, do not use your hands to avoid burning yourself.

 

Step 3: 

  • If the appliance will not operate for a short period, the valve can be adjusted to the pilot position (¬ ). This will save gas consumption substantially.
  • To completely shut down the appliance, turn the gas valve to the offsetting, and depending on the model, one must also turn off the shut-off knob.
  • Leave the oil rest for a few hours before draining it as it remains very hot even after shutting down the appliance.

NOTE: If the appliance will not be used for a longer period of time, remove the plug from the socket, drain the oil and clean the appliance according to the "cleaning" recommended instruction.
