Here you will find information about operating an electric fryer.
Operating
Step 1:
- Fill the reservoir(s) with frying oil and keep the amount between the "L" LOW and "H" HIGH levels located inside the oil reservoir.
- Turn on the appliance by using the ON/OFF switch located on the control panel, when turned on the green power indicator should light up. (Some fryers may not be equipped with a switch and will simply turn on when the temperature is set.)
Step 2:
- Select the desired temperature with the temperature control dial, this should light up the orange heating indicator.
- Wait for the orange indicator to light off indicating that the oil has reached the desired temperature.
ATTENTION! Do not turn the temperature dial before switching "ON" the appliance. This may short circuit the power switch!
Step 3:
- Place your product in the basket and gently drop the basket into the oil, then cover with the lid.
- When your product is cooked to satisfaction, lift the basket and hook it to the draining bar located above the tank.
- Remove the products using a pair of tongs, do not use your hands to avoid burning yourself.
Step 4:
- Reset the temperature dial to 0 and switch "OFF" the appliance.
- Leave the oil rest for a few hours before draining it as it remains very hot even after shutting down the appliance.
NOTE: If the appliance will not be used for a longer period of time, remove the plug from the socket, drain the oil and clean the appliance according to the "cleaning" recommended instruction.
ATTENTION! Do not switch "OFF" the appliance before resetting the temperature to 0. This may short circuit the power switch!
