Maintenance


 

Step 1:

  • Check and clean the appliance, its parts, and accessories (if applicable).
  • Check the power plug and power cable for damage. If either is damaged do not use the appliance and have it repaired by a certified electrical engineer.


Step 2: 

  • Switch off and disconnect the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.
  • Remove the top cover to apply new grease can be done by unscrewing the 2 screws on both "right" and "left" sides of the appliance. 
  • Once the screws are out, gently remove the top cover for access to the gearbox and chain. 

 

Step 3:

  • Lubricate with grease or lubricant applying it directly to the chain and gears evenly. 
  • After evenly distributed, place the cover back on top of the appliance and screw it back into place.

 

ATTENTION! Bigger models may be equipped with V-belt. 

  • To maintain the chain, check for the tightness of the chain. 


  • If the chain is loose, it can be adjusted by loosening the gears where the chain lies and then pulling them in order to tighten the chain. (see pictures below)
