Here you will find information about how to install a combisteamer oven with a digital display.
Installation
ATTENTION! It's recommended to handle and install the appliance with at least 2 people.
Step 1:
- The machine must be positioned on a flat and stable surface at least 85 cm from the ground.
- Choose a surface where the machine is not exposed to direct sunlight, or close to a direct source of heat such as a cooker, oven or radiator.
- When positioning the appliance, maintain a distance of 10 cm (4 inches) between the appliance and walls or other objects for ventilation and ease of use.
- Place the machine away from flammable materials, liquids and gasses. Also, do not store flammable materials, liquids or gasses nearby.
Step 2:
- The feet are inside the appliance and must be secured on the four threaded holes on the base.
- Connect the supplied water hose to the inlet located in the back of the appliance.
NOTE: Its recommended to let the water run for a while before plugging in the water supply to let all impurities clear out.
We recommend also using a water softener in order to avoid malfunctions with the appliance caused by excess calcium in the water. ("Buy: Decalcifier")(recommended water hardness 0.5°F to 3°F)

Step 3: (Not for combisteamer 3 x 1/1 (08560350))
- The drain outlet is located in the back of the appliance.
- Use the drain hose provided and connect it to the drain outlet.
- Make sure the drain hose is placed at least 2 cm lower than the appliance for the water to flow out with gravity.
Step 4:
Power cable connections should be carried out by a certified electrical engineer or a technician.
(1 Phase)
- Remove the back panel to access the cable assembly.
- Connect the phase wire to the "L1" terminal.
- Connect the neutral to the "N" terminal
- Connect the ground to the Symbol
(3 Phase)
- Remove the back panel to access the cable assembly.
- Connect the phase wires to the "L1" "L2" terminal.
- Connect the neutral to the "N" terminal
- Connect the ground to the Symbol
Only for EKF 611 CTC – EKF 611 CTC/0/037 – EKF 1011 CTC:
Connect the 3 phase conductors (L1, L2, L3) of the cable to the terminals marked with “1”(brown conductor) “2”(black conductor) and “3”(grey conductor) of the terminal board, the neutral conductor (blue) to the terminal marked with “4” or “5” and the earth conductor (yellow/green) to the terminal marked with the symbol (see diagram also available by the terminal board):
ATTENTION!
Its important that the appliance is properly grounded, this should be carried out by an experienced electrician or a service technician. If you have multiple appliances with an equipotential cable output please link them with a compatible cable in order to ensure the health and safety of the operating occupants.
