Cleaning

 

 

ATTENTION! This appliance requires daily cleaning, read through the following guide in order to prolong the life of the appliance.

 

Step 1:

  • Always switch off and disconnect the power supply before cleaning. Regularly check for any damage on the power cable or plug, if either is damaged have it repaired by a certified electrical engineer and do not use the appliance.

ATTENTION! 

Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives. Do not use solvents or petrol-based cleaning agents. Some cleaning agents may leave harmful residues or cause damage to the machine. 

 

Do not use any scourer and sharp or pointed objects during cleaning, this may cause damage to the machine.

 

Never hose down the machine or immerse it in water or any other liquid, instead wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use a steamer to clean the appliance 

 

Never let the power cable or power plug get wet or damp.

 

Step 2:

  • Remove the transparent cover by unscrewing the orange hand screws and then slide off the cover.
  • Remove the waste bins on both sides of the squeezing assembly.
  • On the bottom of the squeezing assembly, gently slide the 2 peelers out of the holding brackets. Be careful as the peelers may be fragile.
  • Undo the center screw of the squeezing assembly and gently slide the complete assembly out.
  • Finally slide out the knife plate which is also located in the center (handle the knife with care).

Step 3:

  • Clean and dry all parts using a brush, warm water, and a mild food-safe detergent.

ATTENTION! Do not clean parts in the dishwasher.

  • Clean the appliance with a damp cloth and make sure to dry well before reassembling.

Step 4:

  • Slide knife plate back into place.
  • Reposition and slide squeezing assembly into the designated spinners. Place and tighten the middle, orange hand screw.
  • Slide the 2 peelers back into the holding brackets.
  • Place the waste bins in their designated positions.
  • Finally slide the cover back into place and attach it with the orange hand screws.

ATTENTION! Make sure the cover is well placed as the machine will not operate if the safety lock button is not pressed in by the cover.
