Here is some information on how to operate a 7-liter planetary mixer.
Operation
Step 1:
- Use the lever on the side of the unit to tilt the motor head back.
- Add desired ingredients to the mixing bowl or turn the mixing bowl to unlock it and remove it from the assembly.
- Install the required accessory (mixing whisk, dough hook or mixing wing).
- Make sure the mixing bowl is securely replaced and locked in place.
NOTE: If the bowl is not properly sealed, the unit will not turn on due to the safety switch.
Step 2:
- Bring down the motorhead and secure it by tightening the lever, this activates the safety switch which allows the unit to start.
- Select a speed using the speed selector and press the start button to activate the unit. Always start mixing at low speed and gradually increase the speed as needed. The speed can be easily adjusted during operation.
ATTENTION!
If you find that the unit has trouble mixing at the set speed, decrease the speed or change the composition/thickness of your product.
NOTE:
When mixing light batches, it is recommended that you do not run the mixer continuously for longer than 30 minutes and allow a 15-20 minute cool down period between mixing cycles.
When mixing heavier batches, it is recommended that the mixer not be operated continuously for more than 20 minutes and that a 20-30 minute cool down period be allowed between mixing cycles.
Step 3:
- When finished, reduce the mixing speed to the lowest setting and turn off the unit.
- Use the lever to tilt the motorhead back and remove the mixed product from the bowl.
- Finally, please follow the "cleaning" guide at the end of each use.
