Here you will find all the required information on how to maintain your vacuum packing machine.


 

Maintenance


 

Step 1:

  • Place the machine in a spacious area where you can work.
  • Start by unscrewing the screws in the front left and right sides of the machine.

 

Step 2:

  • Gently tilt the top of the machine backwards in order to access the bottom panel. (see pictures below.)
  • Locate the vacuum pump.

Never tilt the entire machine as oil may be loss and this will damage the machine!

 

Step 3:

  • On the bottom of the panel, where the pump is located, unscrew the drain plug and safely collect the used oil.
  • Let the oil completely drain out for a few minutes and screw the drain plug back into the bottom of the pump.

 

Step 4:

  • Locate the refill plug on the top of the pump.
  • Use the supplied oil to refill the pump to the required oil level marked on the glass display in the front of the pump.
  • Screw the refill plug back on the top of the pump.

Do not overfill the pump! This can lead to eventual damage of the components.

 

Step 5: 

  • Finally re-assemble the machine and your have completed the oil refilling process.

Replacing the sealer.


 

After some time the sealer will eventually deteriorate due to usage of the machine. The sealing tape on the top of the sealer can be replaced as shown and explained below.

 

Step 1: 

  • Release the contact points by removing de screws.

  • Remove the screws in the bottom and sides of the sealer as shown in the pictures.

Step 2:

  • Remove the plastic blocks on the sides of the sealer and then remove the tape.

  • Release the metal strip and remove the strip completely (the tools to do this have been delivered with the machine).

Step 3:

  • Cut a new heating wire at the right size, and replace the old one.

  • Use the tools to place the heating wire and lock it in place with the retaining bolt.

Step 4:

  • Cut the sealing tape a proper length and stick it on the heating wire.

  • Cut the remaining sealing tape on the two sides in order to fold it over the edges correctly.

  • Put the plastic blocks back on the two sides of sealing bar.

Step 5:

  • Install the steel base and pressing stick.

  • Connect the cable of complete sealing bar to the pin, then put the sealing bar back to vacuum chamber to finish the installation.
