Here you will find information about operating a gas pasta cooker.

Operation

Step 1:

  • Fill the reservoir with water. Make sure to keep the water level between the Min/Max markers located inside the reservoir.
  • Switch "ON" the appliance by turning the temperature dial and using the igniter to start the flame.
  • Keep the temperature knob pushed in for a few seconds after igniting the flame for the thermocouple to hold the flame.

NOTE: You can look trough the flame hole to see if the flame is "ON".

ATTENTION!

Never operate the appliance without water in the reservoir.

Step 2:

  • Once the water has reached boiling temperature, remove the basket from the reservoir and place your product inside the basket.
  • Gently lower the basket back into the water, don't forget to set a timer.
  • Once the product is cooked as desired, lift the basket out of the hot water and let it drain back into the reservoir.
  • After draining the excess water, empty the basket into a suitable container for further processing of the product.

NOTE: If the appliance will not be used for a short period of time, set the temperature knob to the pilot setting to reduce the gas consumption.

Step 3:

  • When the appliance is no longer in use, reset the temperature to the "OFF" setting.

ATTENTION!

The water in the reservoir remains hot for a while even after switching off the appliance.

  • Follow the "cleaning" guide after each use to prolong the life expectancy of the appliance.

NOTE: Due the hygienic regulations it's recommended to clean the appliance after every use.
