Operation
Step 1:
- Fill the reservoir with water. Make sure to keep the water level between the Min/Max markers located inside the reservoir.
- Switch "ON" the appliance by turning the temperature dial and using the igniter to start the flame.
- Keep the temperature knob pushed in for a few seconds after igniting the flame for the thermocouple to hold the flame.
NOTE: You can look trough the flame hole to see if the flame is "ON".
ATTENTION!
Never operate the appliance without water in the reservoir.
Step 2:
- Once the water has reached boiling temperature, remove the basket from the reservoir and place your product inside the basket.
- Gently lower the basket back into the water, don't forget to set a timer.
- Once the product is cooked as desired, lift the basket out of the hot water and let it drain back into the reservoir.
- After draining the excess water, empty the basket into a suitable container for further processing of the product.
NOTE: If the appliance will not be used for a short period of time, set the temperature knob to the pilot setting to reduce the gas consumption.
Step 3:
- When the appliance is no longer in use, reset the temperature to the "OFF" setting.
ATTENTION!
The water in the reservoir remains hot for a while even after switching off the appliance.
- Follow the "cleaning" guide after each use to prolong the life expectancy of the appliance.
NOTE: Due the hygienic regulations it's recommended to clean the appliance after every use.
