Here you will find information about operating a pancake maker.
Operating
Step 1:
- Use the switch located on the control panel to switch "ON" the appliance.
- Set your desired temperature using the temperature dial. During the heating process the heating indicator light will turn on.
NOTE: The first time you use the appliance, there may be some smoke development and a slight odor noticeable. This is normal and should disappear after a few uses.
Step 2:
- Once the heating indicator turns off, the unit has reached the set temperature and is ready for use.
- Before adding the batter, lightly coat the cooking plates with butter or cooking oil (non-stick baking spay also works well). This will help avoid the waffle sticking to the cooking plates.
- Add just enough batter to cover the peak areas, do not overfill.
- Close the lid to and set the timer as desired. When the set time has passed, the timer will make a "ding" sound.
- Check if the waffle is cooked properly and remove it using a wooden or plastic utensil.
ATTENTION!
Use caution when removing the pancakes, as the iron plate is very hot and can cause serious burns. It is recommended to use protective gloves to handle cooked products.
Step 3:
- While not in use, always switch "OFF" the machine using the power switch
- Follow the "cleaning" guide to prolong the appliance life expectancy.
NOTE: Due to hygienic regulations it is recommended to clean the appliance daily.
