Here you will find information about operating an ice maker.

Operating

Step 1:

  • Plug appliance into the main socket.
  • Use the “ON/OFF” switch, which is located on the control panel at the front of the appliance to start the appliance. The green light in the switch will light up.

NOTE: The first time the machine is switched on it will perform a self-inspection, this will take approximately 5 minutes.

The “RUN” indicator will not immediately light up when you switch on the machine for the first time, it will light up when the compressor is operational.

ATTENTION! When using the Ice Maker for the first time (or after a long period of inactivity) please discard the first 2 batches of ice. This process will clean the internal system and ensure clean ice cubes.

Step 2:

  • The “ICE FULL” indicator on the display panel will light up when the container has reached maximum capacity. The ice maker will stop automatically and resume once ice has been removed from the container.

NOTE: The "WATER LOW" indicator only lights up when the water supply to the machine is insufficient, in this case the appliance will pause operations automatically. In this case check the water supply or reservoir.

  • All water from melted ice cubes is automatically drained with the drain located at the bottom of the ice container.

ATTENTION! Make sure that the drain pipe is lower than the ice maker, this will prevent water to accumulate at the bottom of the container and melt the ice being made.

Step 3:

  • When the appliance is not being used, turn off the machine by pressing the ‘On/Off’ switch on the control panel.
  • If the appliance will not be used for a longer period, please remove the plug from the main socket. Remove the water from the reservoir using the drain located at the back of the appliance. Completely dry the water reservoir using a dry towel.
