Here you will find information about operating a counter fridge/freezer.
Operating
Step 1:
- Plug the appliance into a grounded socket.
- Turn "ON" the green start switch on the top of the fridge next to the control panel.
ATTENTION!
Never move the appliance while operational!
Wait 2 hours before placing the product inside the appliance after turning it "ON" for the first time.
If the appliance was transported on its side or front/back, the appliance must rest in an upright position for 24 hours in order for the coolant to settle.
Step 2:
- Use the control panel to set the desired temperature. Press the "SET" button for 3 seconds until the °C starts flashing, now you can set the desired temperature with the arrows UP & DOWN. Press the "SET" button the confirm the selected temperature.
NOTE: Refrigerators/freezers are set to have a default temperature fluctuation of 2.0°C. This means that the compressor will bring the temperature down to the desired setting and then let the temperature rise for 2.0°C until the compressor re-activates to bring the temperature back to the set temperature.
- Press the "SET" & "arrow DOWN" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds the access the (Hy)"Differential" programming setting. Here you can regulated the temperature fluctuation as explained above. Press the "SET" button to edit the current fluctuation, use the arrow buttons to increase and decrease the temperature difference between the desired temperature and the maximum temperature you would like the fridge not to surpass.
Example: if the set temperature is 4°C and the (Hy) setting is set to 2.0°C then the compressor will stop at 4°C and start at 6°C.
Step 3:
- The following icon is a manual defrost button, if pressed and held for more than 3 seconds the fridge will start a short defrost cycle.
ATTENTION! This may cause the appliance to operate at higher temperatures than the desired input.
- Products placed inside the appliance should not touch the cabin walls, this may cause the product to freeze and bad air ventilation.
NOTE: When refilling the appliance with products we recommend to do so at the end of the day, so that the appliance has enough time to bring the temperature back down before heavy use.
Step 4:
- When the appliance is not in use, turn "OFF" the appliance by pressing the green switch to the off position.
NOTE: If the appliance is not being used for a longer period then its recommended to remove the plug from the socket and following the "Cleaning" guide.
ATTENTION! Never place unprotected products on the bottom of the appliance, the condensation will be drained at the bottom of the appliance.
