Here you will find information about installing a convection oven.
Installation
ATTENTION! It's recommended to handle and install the appliance with at least 2 people.
Step 1:
- The machine must be positioned on a flat and stable surface.
- Choose a surface where the machine is not exposed to direct sunlight, or close to a direct source of heat such as a cooker, oven, or radiator.
- When positioning the appliance, maintain a distance of 10cm (4 inches) between the appliance and walls or other objects for ventilation and ease of use.
- Place the machine away from flammable materials, liquids, and gasses. Also, do not store flammable materials, liquids, or gasses nearby.
Step 2:
- Install the required parts & accessories (if applicable).
- Remove any packing material from the inside of the oven.
- Plug the appliance into the main socket.
- Let the appliance operate at 100°C for about 1 hour before use.
Step 3: (Water supply connection only for ovens with steam function)
- Connect a drinking water supply to the inlet pipe located at the rear of the appliance using the 3/4in size pressure hose. Make sure it is connected and fixed in place properly to avoid leakages.
- The water supply should have a pressure value between 50 kPa (0.5 bar) and 200 kPa (2 bar). If the pressure exceeds 200 kPa please install a pressure reducer.
- To prevent limescale formation and avoid malfunction as a result, we advise placing a water softener if the local water hardness requires it. Please consult your supplier or a local specialist for more information. (Buy decalcifier)
