Solutions

Ensure that the appliance is turned "ON" and plugged into a compatible power source.
Make sure the appliance is turned on using the power switch.
Try adjusting the temperature setting above the minimum.
Check with a service technician if the temperature controller may be damaged or the heating element may be broken.
