First Time Use
- Unpack and inspect your appliance immediately after receipt. If there are any latent defects or damage to the appliance, then immediately contact your dealer.
Save all packaging materials in case the appliance needs to be returned or for inspection by the freight carrier.
- Remove any protective film from all surfaces.
- If your appliance is supplied with a factory-fitted molded plug, then you may plug the unit into a standard electrical outlet. Make sure that the voltage of the appliance and the wall outlet is compatible.
If your appliance is not supplied with a factory-fitted molded plug, then a qualified electrical engineer must be contacted to wire the unit to the power supply.
- Maxima Electric Grills are shipped pre-oiled (not cooking oil) to help protect the appliance. It is normal to encounter some oil while unboxing the appliance. Clean the accessories and the appliance with lukewarm water and a soft cloth before using it for the first time (use water with a very mild detergent).

- After cleaning, wait for the appliance to dry completely and then plug the appliance into the power socket.
ATTENTION! When heating the appliance for the very first time, do not turn to maximum temperature immediately. This may cause discoloration of the grill surface. Instead, operate the appliance at 100ᵒC for a while or until all oil residues are evaporated. During this process there maybe some smoke development, this is normal.
- Level and position the appliance in such a way that the plug is accessible at all times.
